It’s that time of year again… for After Hours @ the Burke! This is a wonderful event, full of free goodies, cool people, and a tour of our awesome local museum. If you have yet to visit the Burke, this is the night to go! Here are are a few pictures from last year- it was really fun!
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 @ 7 pm
UW students are invited to an exclusive evening event at the museum. Come to After Hours @ the Burke for a fun night of events inspired by the exhibit Wondrous Cold: An Antarctic Journey. Enjoy tasty frozen treats, learn about polar ice with the UW’s Polar Science Center, take your picture with a penguin, and challenge your friends to a game of Don’t Break the Ice!
FIG leaders are invited to bring their groups as a cultural or academic excursion. No reservations required, but RSVP of group attendance is requested: e-mail or call Julia Swan at email@example.com or 206-616-7538.
This event is free for UW students. After Hours @ the Burke is presented free to UW students by the Burke Museum with support from UW Undergraduate Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Life.
