Seattle Public Library Volunteer Opportunity

7 Mar

Kick up your heels downtown at the fabulous Public Library– a great job for English buffs, Communication majors, and anybody who loves a chance to sneak downtown for the afternoon. You could work here!!!  Not many office buildings beat that!

The Seattle Public Library’s Communications Office is seeking two volunteers to assist with various data entry and clerical projects. This is an opportunity for undergraduate students to use their office skills and learn about communications in a large, metropolitan library system. The Communications Office is located in the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Avenue.

Volunteers are asked to commit two to four hours per week for a minimum of three months. Shifts may be scheduled between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each volunteer’s duties will vary, depending on interests, skills and availability during the week.

For more information, prospective volunteers may contact:
